J It transpires that a Kusso-Pernan commercial agreement has been com-' pleted which becomes operative on the' 14' h inB*;., and introduce specific, instead of the advalorem duties levied under the Turkamaocbi Treaty. The latter has barn in operation since Fabruary, 1828. j The new agreement abolishes the majority of Persian export duties and tolls, as well as the sysV m of farming cut the taxe», and establishes Persian customs stations. Persia is arranging with Russia the details of payment of customs and, storage, a period of twelve months being granted.
