All races to start punctually at advertised time. Any boat not at the starting point at, the proper time shall be liable to disqualification for that event. Protests must be in the hands of the Secretary in writing within 15 minutes after the race." Each protest must be accompanied by a deposit of 10s, which sum may be forfeited if the protest is not upheld by the Committee. Entrance fee 10 per cent of the amount of first prize money offered for each event. Names, weights of competitors (including substitutes', and colours to be worn, must be lodged at the time of entry. All post entries (to close on Regatta Day at 12 noon) will be charged 5 per cent, on am»unt of first prize. Bookmakers will not be allowejl to bet inside the enclosure. The Committee reserve to themselves the right to alter the order or postpone any or all of the events, and add any regulations which in their opinion may be necessarv. Entries for the FOUR-OAR, PAIR-OAR, and SINGLE SCULLS close with the Secretary at the Foresters' Hall, Waitara, on THURSDAY, 19th February, at 8.30 p.m. Entries for all Whaleboat Races close with the Secretary at the Foresters' Hall on THURSDAY, 26th February, at 8 p.m. Also for Swimming Handicap Race. •BAND IN ATTENDANCE.
