Post entry. 17. Tub Race. For boys under 17 years. First prize 20s, second 10s, for six starters. First prize 15s, second ss, for four starters. Post entry. CONDITIONS. Two crews to start or no race. Three crews to start or no second prize. All races to start punctually at advertised time. Any boat not at the starting point at the proper time shall be liable to disqualification for that event. Protests must be in the hands of the Secretary in writing within 15 minutes after the race. Each protest must be accompanied by a deposit of 10s, which sum may be ."orfeited if the protest is not upheld by tlie Committee. Entrance fee 10 per cent of the amount of first prize money offered for each event. Names, weights of competitors (including substitutes), and colours to be worn, must be lodged at the time of entry. All post entries (to close on Regatta Day at 12 noon) will be charged 5 per cent, on ameunt of first prize. Bookmakers will not be allowed to bet inside the enclosure. The Committee reserve to themselves the right to alter the order or postpone any or all of the events, and add any regulations which.in their opinion may be necessary. Entries for the FOUR-OAR, PAIR-OAR, and SINGLE SCULLS close with the Secretary at the Foresters' Hall, Waitaia, on THURSDAY, lilth February, at 5.30 p.m. Entries for all Whaleboat Races close with the Secretary at the Foresters' Hall on THURSDAY, 26thFebruary, at 8 p.m. Also for Swimming Handicap Race. BAND IN ATTENDANCE. Special and Delayed Trains will be arranged to suit visitors. THE ANNUAL REGATTA DANCE Will be held in St. John's Hall on Regatta Night. Good music. Suppci provided. H.
