Stratford: Richard Dingle. Olifton: J. W. Foramin. Taranaki South: E. Maxwell and 0. A, Adlam. It will be seen that Mr Dingle replaces Mr Curtis, and that the only contest is in Taraeaki South. Tha elc'ion for this ward it fixed for February 9th. v Unio: tunately the nomination cf Mr McLean for tbe Hawera Ward did not arrive in time, but asm* to hmd by the ; six o'c'ock mail. This necessitates tb* vacanoy being filled in a ttatutory manner.'
