THE XNOAMJ'URNT. Thk Volunteer camp was a great souroe of attraction on VVudaeeday, tha Recreation Grounds being thronged with visitors all day. Sargeint-Mijir Anderson has won golden opinious for the thorough mjr in which he the men, and district is evidently fortunate in securing the services of such a oempetent drill ins'motor. The Garrison Band has been taking advan'age of the camp to get in some good solid practice in marching in view of the band contest. Under the able 1 adership of Drum-Mijor Goldwater they have mide onsiderable prigrem.

THE CAMP CONCERT. The usaal camp ooncert was held is the mess tent last evening, ani was well supported "by the public abd friends of the Volunteers. The thank*' of the non. outs, who arranged the concert are due to the Mines Nerthcroft, who kindly aooott* papied the various performers on the piano, The following are the names of th an who made the gathering ao aw* ces-ful: -Mr W.
