THORNTON COMEDY COMPANY.
| It is evident from exchanges to band Ithnt Mr Frank Thornton's London Comedy O >mpany is having well filled hous?s and delighted audiences at; every town where they have phyed. The company is suid to be a long wjy ahead |of any other comedy company that has been on tour, and this is spying a great deal. However good the artists may be, unless they have a taking comedy to submit >o the public, th ir effjrti cannot ersure success. Fortuno'ely " Facing the Music" is just the sort of play to attract theatre-goers, as is one of tha wittiest aod most ltughable of n cent comedies, and it should not fail to draw a packed house on Thursday evening, the only night on which the company phy here. That which baa proved such a splendid succ s* in oth»r c ntres should not fail to do so at New Plymouth.
