Received 18, 5.17 p.m. PEB PSESS ABSOCIITION. Melboitsns, January 18. The late Sir Fredrick Sargood was accordei a large funeral. The Gover-nor-General was represented, and there was a Urge attendance of State and Federal m°mbe-s. About 2000 members of military corps took part. Tbe h : g'i raste Indians held a service at tbeir Temple for tbe repose of his soul, the ceremonies beiog similar <o those by the Indian troops at Melbourne on the occasion of Q teen Victoria's funeral.
