At a meeting of the Bran Bead Oon'e-t Committee, a communication was received from the secretary of tit* North Island Braes Band Asseciatioa, ezpjcauDg an opinion that Mr Or 4 Flume would be unable to get through the work of judging in four days, tod asking that the contest should not be started till Tuesday, February 3rd. " A resolution was passed that too local committe could not alter ite decision to commence on Monday, Februard 2nd, as it w b now too late for any alteration to be made.
