When s acding on tbe scaffold he said " before God I solemnly dcclire tint I am innocent of tbe ciime for which I was cocdemced. Received 12. 10.53 p.m. Brisbane, January 12. K> niff was buried in South Brisbane cemetery, four hundred persons, including his father and brothers, at'ending the funeral. A large number of wreaths were sent by sympathisers.
