Three tribunals, including a joint committee of owners and representatives of the Miners' Union, decided against the claimant?, and yet all the employee* struck out of sympathy with strikers. They sacrificed £170,000 in wages, and absorbed £30,000 of the funds of the Yorkshire Miners' Union.
