J PKH PRESS ASSOCIATION i Waiboa, January 12. | The Morere bush fires were smouldering yesterday, but a heavy westerly gale to day was fanning the bush into a big blaze. The Hot Springs bush is buret back to the hotel, and a strip bas also been burnt across the pith leading to the baths. It is reported that one .of the Coop brothers was in the bush for four days, being cut off by fire and smoke. He bad a trying c zperieacp. At Takabui, Messrs Vaughan, Honk, C*rney, and Ikaka Whanga lest th> ir grass seed and fencing. -
