The Imperial Government is se satisfied with the manner in which the New Zealand ho'B's stood the severe tests in South Africa that they have determined to continue to purchase horses in New Zealand for use in the Transvaal and Orangania. Officers will shortly arrive in the colony in connection with the inspection and purchase of remounts.
It is stated t hat in point cf price New Zeahnd horses compare more than favourably with the English.
