There were 15 starters, including the New Zalandera Chalmers and Plunketf. F >rb s was leading two laps from home, fvllowed by Anger and Lewie. Anger tackled the leader at the torn, and a great rare ensued, being won by a length and a half. Time, 4min 26|aec. The winner is 22 ye in of age, and only started racing last season.
