The New Plymouth P re Brigade held their annual Wadeveuten Woolcombe Terrace on Thursday evening, resulting as follows Central Ward: Fireman J. Way, W. Way, T. R. Ford, H. Be lie, aud Secretary Ford, 54sec, 1. Weit Ward Fireman H. Inch, H. Yates, W. Bendal l , V. Bjal, and G. Tempero, 60|.«c, 2. 1 Eist Ward: Lieutenant Boon, Foreman B l'ringer, Firemen J, Sim*, J. Clarke, V. A. Cleland, 63 4-sth see., 3. The time recorded by the winners was the fastest tke event has been won in by several secoads. After the above event, the selector, Mr F. (Jarrington, picked the t«am to represent the brigade at the Napier DjmoHg'ritiom in March nex% as fallows : Lieutenant Boon, Foreman Bellringer, Secrttary H. Ford, Fireman J. Way and H. Yates, Emergency A. Uldand. Secretary Ford at once withdrew bis name from the team, and Fireman Cleland then bec*me fifth I man.
