FIRES.
♦ V PIS HMS ASSOCIATION. Sydney, January 5. A fire at Narrabri destroyed Mr Hall's s'ock of scoured wool. The damage is estimated at £IO,OOO. Wellington, January 6. The old Trentham Hotel it as destroyed by fire on Sunday night. The new building hid just been completed neir by, amd the removal was about to take place. Bath were owned by F. HcGovern, T. J. Walsh being the liclHns. The insurances on the furniture and stock were £200; that on the building is not known. The cause of the fire is unknown.
