ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Waihi, June 27. An elderly man named Alexander Fraser, an old age pensioner, wasfound dead in bad, Hawera, June 27. Jemts Bicks, a young man in tbe employ of Mr Hill, trine merchant died somewhat suddenly. A week ago he bad some teeth drawn, si d inflammation of the throat-caused by a cold followed, and an abecefg, which formed, tu r st during the night, choking the deceased. Wellington, June 27. Mr Edwin Meson, the registrar of Fiiendly Societies, fell down dead from failure of tte heart while on his way home from the city lest night. He was in his 5.5 th year. At the ir quest concerning tbe death of John Al'ender, who died on Monday from burns, caused by fallirg into a tank of caustic soda, the jury returned a verdict- of accidental death, recommending that smething be done to prevent a simitar occurrence in futurJ.
