A very pretty wedding wag solsmoisad at tbe residence of Mr James Taylor, Oka'o, on the 23rd of Jaae, by ths Rev. J. H. White, whea Mr W. T. Cum' e< land, of Wanganu', was marned to Ada Beatrice, eldest daughter of Mr J. T.iylor. The bride looked charmirg in a cream tucked bscgaline with cfciflbn and silk trimmings, and wore a pret y gold cible bangl», the gift of tbe brid groom. Tbe bridesmaids were Missoa Mai ie and L i e Taylo", s<st«fs of tbe biide, and Miss Charity Cumberland, sister of tbe bridegroom, each * earing Lvely cream dresses and gold troichi p, gifti'of the bridegroom. Mr A. 0. Cumberland ac'ed as best man Mr K. Taylor as groomsman. After the ceremony, the guests wer* entert lined by Mr and Mrs Taylor at afterncon tei. Many flittering words ware spoken in neat speeches in refer- ' nro t) the es'etm in which the happy c.uple were held. Tbe gifts were numerous and c stly. During the ovming Mr.and Mrs Cumberland left fur their future tome in Watgnnui amid the good wishes of the as;embkd guest?.
