HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.

The annual mcoting of the New Plymouth Horticultural Society was htld on Friday evening, who a there were about a dozen members present, the wet weather probably accounting for the paucity of the attendance. Thanks were due tj Messrs Lsirdand Son?, Wanganui, for exhibits of rcsesand cut bUrms, Therj were now nine horticu'tural societies in Taranaki affiliated with tha Taranaki Horticullural Assocht : on.
