THE WORLD'S ENTERTAINERS.
The re-opening of tbe Theatre Royal on Friday next by the World's Entertainers should be a r d-lester day in the theatrical annals of New Plymouth. Owing to the enormous expsnse which is involved in having such a largo number of " star " artist* this company has only played at the large centres, and witk unvarying success. Their style of entertainment is novel, light, amusing, and refined, being popularly termed " polile vaudeville." So much has been heard of the entertaining ab:lities of Mr Sweet, the musical burglar, of Josephice Gassman and her picaninnies, of Kelly and Ashley, the acrobatic comedians, of Ths Casinos Trit, Prof. Powell, Agnes Muhr, and indeed all the members of the organisation, that there is little doubt the season hero will be t-s successful as elsewhere.
