At a meeting of the Traces and Labour Council to-night, Mr S»ddon's speech at the New Zeiland dinner in London was nude the su'-s'anc! of 8 motion to send a cable to the London Traded Council sauting that the condition of aflkira in the colony is no*; so bright as alleged by Mr Section. The dfrcuwion was prol >pged and Vitt r, but rio decis'on was arrived at, allowing of the operation of the time limi% and the meeting ended in an uproar.
