Mr Mackay considered tha'* Mr Clark was acting in a very kia i spirit, which he was sure tha Board would recognise. Mr Tisch s'ated what the town committee prcpDscd djing on Coronation Day, and suggested the old people should have a drive rouud the town iii the procession. Eventually tha chairman was nu'horiied to expend £5 for the old people's benefit oa Coronation Day.
