Act to buttering excepting the section restricting the amount of butter fat, and provides tint butter whioh has been adulterated or impoverished mutt hare a statement icdiciuiog the approximate increise of wat<--r legihly printed on the wrapper. The ti'l buttsrine means butter to »hi;h any substance has been added where the amount of water is increased, but does not include margarine. The Bill comes into operation at the beginning of next yetr, excepting for brine butters when tbe moi-ture does not exceed 18 ' per cunt., which are exempted till 1904.
