FATAL OUTBREAK IK PHILADELPHIA, PU PlE>B ASSOCIATION. lUcaired 15, 5.12 p.m. New Yobk, June 14. A fire occurred in a Ira'her goods factory in Philadelphia. Two hundred girls rushed to the fire rscap -, and many wtre crushad. Some fell to the pavement, twelve being killed. Palme rston North, June 14. A fire at Ashurst this morning deatroyed the public library, Bauckham's and Brewer's store*, and J. B. Beaie's office. A building occupied by West, chemist, was scorch.d and tha stock damaged br wa'.er. Insurances : Library, ,£100; Bauckham, £500; and Brewer, £2OO on baildiny, nfc ck uninsured. Tfce less is heavy in fa h instance. About 11 30 lut nig ;t a fire was discovered in the room at the Jubile* Villa boatdioghouee, 1 ut the Aunts were extinguished befoie any serious damage was done. A couch was charred and a small hole burned through the floor, hut the damage only amounted to about £2 or £3.
