It has b°en raining hard in this district since Thursday afternoM, the rivets being in a hig'i sta'e of fl»d, and the hurrounding country under water. Several bridges are threatened and it is feared the loss of stick is considerable, but no definite information is to hand. The mail train was delayed eime three houts and ibe goods train traffic is entitely suspended for the day.
