STEVENSON'S BIOSCOPE ENTERTAINMENT.

Owing to some unfortunate mistake an impression got about on Saturday evening that Mr Stevensm was not £oirg to exhibit, aid although Mr Stevenson did all in his power to correct (he e-ior by tending round be'lmen, tee attendance wua much less than it otbtrwis-i would have been, Those who were there were well repaid, Mr Stevenson giving his full programme snd exhibiting a splendid selection of pictures. Needless to tay this action on his pare was greatly appreciated, as the annoyance to him was undoubtedly very great, to gay nothing of the eerious financial loss it occasioned. Throughout tho evening the applause was uns'inted, and the excellent programme heartily enjoyed. As a number of thos'i present had come from a distance, if Mr Steveneou had not opened up the disappointmeat | would have baen very great. The I wretched weather the first two evtn-1 ings, and the misunderstanding on Saturday evening, has prevented Mr Stevenson's season beiDg the Bucce*s the merit of the entertainment deserved, but should Mr Stevenson return this way we have little doubt he will be weli patronised, as he has established a reputation for good woi k, which will secure him a favourable reception under moreloitucstecircum6tarces.
