The Standard recgnises the diversity of aims and opinion* of colonial Premiers, and says the discussions at the forthcoming cenference will prove valuable and interesting, even if ne draft scheme is produced. It is hoped the noble and inspiring ideal of a closer and more organic Imperial unity will he nearer realisation aftsr tha deliberations.
