Mb. Nbwton KlNd reports At the Haymarket on Saturday, a fair number of pigs were sold at prices from 6s 6d to Bs. Several horses sold at prices ranging from 3s to 8a sd. rtt the Matt, fowls made 9d to Is 3d, chickens 6d to Bd, ducks Is Id to Is sd, onions lj.d The special sale of tweedi, etc., on account of Mr GaukroJger, was fairly well attended, but pricts were low . At Waiwakaiho on Tuesdty, owing to the stormy weather, there was only a small yarding ot stock. There was s-ood bidding for all lines, and nearly everything sold at the hammer at satisfactoiy prices. Good weaners made 20s 6d to 245; good calves, 25s to 36s ; 18-montha steers, L 3 4s; 2 year d n , L 3 18s 6d; store cows, L 3 2s (id to L 8 18s 6d; old do, 25s 6d. On Wednesday Ibeld a clearing sale of furniture on account of M rs Daley, when thera was a good attendance, and excellent prices were lealised.

VICKERS & STEVENS' AUCTION REPORT. Messrs Viokbrs & Stevens report that owing to the inclemeocy of the weather there was only a small muster of cattle in the Inglewood yards on Wednesday. Calves made from 11 2s to LI 6->, yearlings L2 Is to L2 2s 6 stire cows L2 5s to L 3 10b.

Loan and Mercantile Agency Company market report: - Horses.—-These were brought forward in increased numbers, and » good demand prevailed at prices in favour of the vendors There was a large yarding at the Durham yards on Friday, and compeliton was keen. Heavy draughts sold from L2O to L 33 12s 6d; medium do, to L 23 15s; light barns s horse*, M 17s 6d to L 6 10s; hacks, L 6 32s Gd to Ll4 10s.

Cattle.—At Newmarket yards on Tuesday, owing no doubt to th« very wet and cold day, dairy and store stock were yarded in less than usual numbers. Beef was in average quantities, the qualit* 1 hrougnout being excellent. Ox beef soid from !ios to 23s per lOOlbs, cows 17s to 20s. Fat steers sold from L 6 10s to Lll 15s, fat. cows L 4 5s te L 8 12s 6d, dairy cows from L 4 10s to L 8 6s, dry cows L2 10s to L 3 12s 6d, yearling st»ers L2 10s to L 3 2s, calves LI 4s to LI Bs. Sheep were yarded in usual numbers at Newmarket on Tuesday and with the exception of those of first quality showed no improvement in value. Wethers sold from !)s6d to 16s 61, ewes7s6d to 13s 3d, lambs 4s tid to Ss 3d.

Pigs were scarce. Poriere sold from 17s to 275, weaners 7s to 14s 65.

At Pukekohe on Wednesday there was a good muster, dairy cows selling from L4los to L 7 15s, fat do., L 4 15s to L 6 2s 6d, empty do L2 fis to 13 12>6d, calves LI 2s to L2 2s.
