The Bor uih Council having m«de a selection from the dwigrs -übmi'tsd for saltwater baths for New Plymouth, a feiv words regarding the one may be re.d with interest. This was the design sent in hv " En Avant," in other words, Mr J. A. Maisey, architect, Devon-street. The building, which will be of handsome design in front, will contain 40 rooms fitt'd up for bathers Every arrangement will bu provided f>'>r the c :mfort of patron*, a convenient refreshment room, with kitchen attached, being not the least important part. of the appointments, dot anil i-o'.i) fr.ish wa'er baths will bs fi'ted up fo> - ench groun of draesing rooms, while a drying room, with hot nir apparatus, and a wet clothes room, are aiso pro-ided.
