ANNUAL REPORT. FEB FBKBS ASSOCIATION. Sydney, May 14. The annual report of the Australian Mutual Provident Society, to be presented on the 23rd inst., shows new bufinfsg to consist of 14,857 policies assuring £3,753,064, the net gain to the volume of business being no lees than £1,659,800. A further sum of £14,085 is added to the reseive, which now stands at £247,735. Mortality expenses are well within i-xpecta'icn. Liabilities are valued at 3£ per cent., the cash surplus available for division being £538,725. The expensfs am 8| per cent, on the year's receipts, and the efftc'ive ra'e of interest earned during the jear is £4 9s 6d.
