OBITUARY.
«. FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Patka, May 12. Major Turner, a very old resident, died yesterday, aged 80. He joined the 65th Regiment when a young m*n, and took part in the M*ori war. He was wounded at Mahoetahi, and was afterwards officer in charge of the constabulary and S M. at Patea.
