The name journal states that 32 Germin ship* of war already possess the nectary npparatus, and that the Hamburg-American lino has a' Duhncr and ihe North German Lloyd at Bremrhaven experimental stations with wbich tulegrams Inve been exchanged at a distance of 150 kilometres. In engineering circles it is stated th it the Germ in Government is preparing I a law regarding wirele.-s telegraphy, the obj-cfc of wbich is to protect Ger-1 man engineers. The erection of *ta-i tions afcer the Marconi system, it is declared, will not be. author is d on the German coasts. Mr Marconi is endeavouring t> establish a world monopoly, and tho attempt mu<t be frustrated, a task which will preset the les* difficulty, inasmuch as experts are fully agreed tha,t the Shby-Arci system is in all respects equal to that of Mirconi.
