As no much his b=en said or written about the remarks of the Post relative to the hardships of children in dairying districts, a short report of the discussion on the subject by the Ingle•vood branch of the New Z-taland Farmers' Union would not be out of p'ace. The subject was brought up by; a farmer whose children milk, on an average, six cows each, and he complained about a leading article that appeared in ths local paper, which tried to bear out the Post's statements. He siid the editor evidently wrote of things he knew nothing about, and thus did a lot of damage to the community.
