THE MAORI EDUOATIONA.L KKITLKMKNT. | The proposal of the Government to establish a Maori village at Pamona. n the Wangtiiui river, where young natives who have already received some edunatiou may b instructed in manual md technic)! work*, has been approved by the mtives of that district, who have undertaken to give every asaistmco in the matter and have alao agreed to set apart 20 acres of first clan land ■>s a site fo>- the village. It in proposed ' hut the village shall be occupitd by 20 families, and that each shall have an acre. Nf-c*ssary buildings will be erected by the Government without delay, and a small rental will be charged each tenant.
