The Non-Oommissioned Officers' Club will meet at the Drill Hall at the usual hour ou Thursday night. The Guards had kindly offered the use of their club raoms for ts-night, but it whs found they would not be large enough to allow of the necessary movements bfting carried out. Captain Weston will lectuieacd give practical instruction on " Fire discipline in the fifcld." Members ara requested to bring their rifles. (-Wednesday) the Rifles Ball Committee wi'l meet at 7.30 at the Daily News office, to malro further arrangements in connection with the forthcoming bill, A preliminary practice with the Morris tubes will take place on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock- in the Drill Hall. One target will ba available, but when arrangements are completed there will bt. four. The stop butt is somewhat cumbrous, but will bo found very efficient. Provision will b i made for instructing re-rui'S in aiming drill, and the aim reflector will b-i used. The Wcodville Rifles chum to have fired more ammunition in prmo'-iea during the siaEon jus'j closed than any other two corps in the colony.
