AUCKLAND "PLAGUE" CASE.

FIB FUSS ASSOCIATION. Aucklaiw, April 29. Mrs Virtue, widow of Thomas Henry Virtue, who died yesterday at tke hospital, has received a telegram of •ympathy from tbe Hon. J. G. Ward. Dr. Mason called iu the Rev. E. 0. IBudd at thr«e in the morning of Mon•day, when it was seen that there was a likelihood of the man dying, and at once sent a cab for his wife and brought her te the hospital. The Rev. Budd road the service at the cremation, and was present during the whole time. Tbe ashes were subsequently collected by Dr. Masen and placed in a cuffin by him for burial.
