The annuil mejting of t'<e New Plymouth Rifla Club was hi-ld on Thursday at the Commonwealth flotel The captain, Mr W. Humphries, occupied the chair, and there was a fair at'endacce (f rnembors.
The report »nd balance-s>heet wer* read and adopted. The following new mprnbers were elected :—Messrs B. Cock, Nesbir,, F. Stubr, R. D. Stewart, W. J. Reed, L. Webster, ,T. F Nichol, K. Webster, A. Humphries, W. Humphries, jun., MfsO'D-iseo I '. The election of officers rtssulted ; President, Mr E. Dockrill; vice-presi-dent, Major Okt-y, Captain-Adjutant Taunton, Captain Westoo, Captain Cook, Hon W. T. JenniiijiS, Me srs D. Berry and G. Tircb ; captain, Mr W. Hurnpniies; dtputy-captuin, Mr 0. Taylor; bun, teciv-taty and uersurr, Mr K. Webster ; auditor, Mr J. Loveridgfi ; committee, Messrs Stohr, Marton, A. Humphries, Stewart and Bennett.
Tbe meeting then di-cussed general ma*ters and adjourned.
