FIRES.

PRR PBBSS ASSOCIATION. Napier, April 23. A fire this morning gutted a stable »d grain store occupied by W. Amner in dive square. Insurances: Building £2OO, and contents £2OO, both in the New Zealand office.

A flaxmill at Omahu, owned by Messrs Bowron and Butcher, was destroyed by fire on Tuesday morning, the mill being burned down and all the fl ix, except three bales, destroyed. The Machinery was not much damaged.
