Tho Daiy Telegraph, referring to Mr Seddoc's stand on the Fiji question, says aa far as the Pacific Islands are concerned both the difficulty and the conditions are the same in New Zealand aa in Australia. That there is a j problem involved in the future relations between coloured peoples in the Pacific and white peoples, who apparently must absorb them for Governmental purposes, is would be useless to deoy. A scheme will hava to be devised to keep the coloured people, and to an extent their products, apart from the whke settled communities, and at the same time preserve the confidence of the natives.
