MR. WITHEFORD HAIBS3 A " BREKZB," Pin PBSBB ASSOCUTI#*, Auckland, April 22. A most unseemly scene arose at the masting of the Harbour Board this afternoon. Mr Wuheford, MH.R., wished to protest again*t the tending of Mr Brigham, the secretary, to London, and he rose to retd a letter to the chairman as soon as the meeting was opened. He was ruled out of orier, but refused to sit down, and a wrangle ensued between Mr WMieford and the rfst of the Board Mr Witheford eventually bowed to the decision of tha chairman, though not until he hod been told by the Inter that, if ho did not ©b»y the ruling of the Board he would have to be removed from tha room. The meeting adopted instruction! to the secretary as to his negotiations with the Admiralty.
