MASSACRE BY NATIVES.
SUPPOSED CANNIBAL FEAST. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Sydney, April 21. News has been received from German New Britain of nu a'taok on the station of Rudolph W Iff by natives, who murcUred Mis Wolff, an infant and a bUek nurse. Tfce police pursued the natives and captured 10 and killed 30.

When the relief party reached the Wolffs' house they sound everything pmnsh< d. A number of black labour " toys" worn desperately wounded, Miss Coe, who was residing at Wolffs', was struck with a tomahawk, but a Salomon Inland bay displayed conspicuous bravery acd rescued her, and also prevented the murderers from burning Mrs Wolffs' body, M*ny of the Wolffs' labourers are s ill missing, and it is feared they have been killed and eaten. ! A gereral rising of natives is anticiI pated, and a iarga force of black labourers is being aimed to meet the j emergency.
