A deputation from the Onehunga School Committee wait*d upon the Board of Education to ascertain whether the Board was willing to recommend that the Onehu-ga school should be es ablisbed as a High Schrol. Aftw some discussion the amplication was oppo-e I, if concessions were granted to Onehuuga any of the oity or suburban school committees would make a timilir application, and such a st.'p would menace secondary schools. I ■ w s decide I unanimously to recommend the application to the Government.
