In view of the very great interest being taken in this question, a representative of the News interviewed the Hon. A. J. Cadman, 0 M.G., and MiBerry, but beyond expressing their disappointment at the action of the, I Harbour Board they stated they had nothing to add to what has already been made public. Beyond tte fact that during their visit to the South Island, they saw the deposits; of iron ore at Parapara,-our representative could get no definite information j regarding their connection with, or intentions regarding the Paraparaij Mr Berry, however, very readily agreed i to furnish a short account of his trip I and- (Impressions of these far famed deposits of iron ore, and the very readable and interesting account from his pen appears in another column.
