THE IRONSAND.

Mk. D. Bekky returned to New Plymouth last night by the mail train. During the past fortnight with the Hen. A. J. Cad man he has visited the South Island including Nelson and the We«; Coast ia connection with the proposed ironsand company. On Monday Mr. Cadman came as far ax Patea in connection with the ironsand leaees there. Mr. Cadmau returned to Wellingtori yesterday and will return to Auckland in a few days. He is not slopping in New Plymouth. He had secured his pass: 6 'i by tho Paparoa, leaving Wellington on tho 24th inst, and returns to London by her to complete his business there. In connection with the Westport visit the Westport Times says:—"The Hon. A. J. Cadman arrived by coach, from Cbristchurcb, la«t evening, on a visit to Westport and district. It will be remembered that Mr. Oadman recently returned from a visit to London, made in company with Mr. E. M. Smith, where they negotiated for the development of the Taranafci ironsand. Their proposals to some extent include the utilisation of Waimangaroa soft coal, and it is understood that it is in connection with this latter matter that Mr. Oadman is visiting Wtstport, He went out to Waimangaroa, accompanied by Mr, F. F. Munro, lessee cf the Waimangtrot mine, this afternoon.
