WHEREAS the New Plymouth Borough Council propose to claim from the Taraoaki County Council a one-third share of ths cost of an expensive bridge over the Te Henui stream. COUNTY RATEPAYERS will take notice that th'e following petition will be circalated throughout the Countyjor signature:— We, the undersigned ratepayers of the Taranaki County, hereby protest against the erection of a costly bridge over the Te Henoi river (as proposed by the New Plymouth Borough Council at an estimated cost of £3,448) the Taranaki County Council being called upon to contribute towards the cost thereof.
