AFFAIRS IN CHINA.
A SEVERE IMPERIAL EDICT. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION, Received 27, 1 30 a.m. London, March 26. A Chinese Imperial idict annaunces that owing to the rebellion against the collection of the indemnity in southern Honan, and the mu'der of fourteen Christian converts, a magistral a at Piyang is degraded and another at punished. Rebels caught bearing arms are ordered to be boheaded.
