THE OKOROIRE POISONING CASE.
A CLUE TO THE MYSTERY. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Auckland, March 24. Inquiries by the police with reference to the Okoroire poisoning case are tending to show where the poison was, it having been ascertained that those who took ill had lemon sponge and whipped cream for dessert, while those who did not suffer at all seem to have passed this dish. Dr. Roberts, who has now returned to Cambridge, favours the theory of arsenical poisoning. Samples of the lemon sponge and whipped cream are to be analysed,
