ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
FSB PUBS ASSOCIATION. Napiek March 17. A drowning fatality occurred this -afternoon in the Tutaekori River -within a mile and a half of the town. Three lads named Frederick, Stanley, -and Herbert Burton were bathing, sod' th# two latter finishod, leaving Frederick in the water. Shortly afterwards the brothers missed Frederick, J hut although they made a close search' we unable to find any trace of him' (• they gave the alarm, and the father tf the lads with others appeared on the scene, the body teing eventually recovered by Mr J»mee.Kj»owles. Life Jmrever, was extinct. ' . Dunedih, March 18. r A. swagger, name unknown, fell off 4he Rattray-street wharf at midnight. The body was found after several kouni' dragging. The body of a woman well dressed, and apparently about 25 years of agp was found floating oft the Gross wharf' It his not yet been identified. Auoiland, March 18. A fatal accident occurred near Ngaruawahia. An old man was carting timber when tha cart he was pinned underneath. When the timber was removed life was extinct.
