LORD ROSEBKRY ON THE NATIONALISTS. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. London, March 11. i Lord R-jsebery received au ovation at Glasgow. He disclaimed having designs on the leadership of the party. He simply desired to make the party more patriotic. The severance with Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman was r,ot personal. The Nationalists' jubilation ia the House of Commons over Lord Methuon's disaster was further proof that they could not be'trusted with an independent Parliament. He refused to further reveal his programme until called upon to prescribe.
