A WESTRALIAN SENSATION.
tXB PBESS ASSOCIATION Received 11,10 20 p.m. Perth. March 11. A» painful sensation was caused by the news that Mr O. Y. O'Connor, Engineer-in-Chief, had been found dead on Jthe beach some miles from 'Fremantl?, under circumstances pointing t-< micid-. Tbe body was found in thrre feet of water. There was a bullet- "our.d in the mouth, the ball hav'ng passed out at the back of the h< ad. A revolver was found in the wan-r close by. Deceased bad been in the habit; of taking a morning ride, sccompan'ed by bis dam hter, but yesterday morning be went out alone. Nothing unusual.was noticed in hi* demeanour.
