COUNTY RATEPAYERS' PETITION. WHEREAS the New Plymouth Borough Council propose to claim from the Taranaki County Ceuncil a one-third share of the cost of an expensive bridge aver the Te Henui stream. COUNTY RATEPAYERS will take notice that the following petition will be circulated throughout the County for signature:— We, the undersigned ratepayers of the Taranaki County, hereby protest against the erection of a costly bridge over the Te Henui river (as proposed by the New Plymouth Borough Council at an estimate.! cost of £3,448) the Taranaki County Council being called upon to contribute towards the cost thereof.
